Kufra Pilot’s Watch
Inspired by the dunes and oases of the Kufra district of southern Libya, the Kufra is our premier desert aviator's chronograph. The Kufra was designed to reflect the flight chronometers used by the RAF during WW2, specifically the units that flew reconnaissance and resupply missions to the Long-Range Desert Group in their intrepid operations to halt the German advance through the African continent. We pay homage to their mission by including their iconic scorpion logo on the caseback.
With a vintage but intermediary size (38mm), box sapphire crystal, and classic Flieger shape, we embrace the vintage aesthetic - while packing in modern and durable features. The watch contains a Seiko Mecha-quartz chronograph movement and a bespoke dial design with C1 Super-Luminova. Should you have to splash down on something besides the desert sand, we included 50m water resistance to boot.
